What is the LoneSock services practice?

LoneSock Consultancy is the client-services arm of KaritKarma Limited. Where KaritKarma builds its own products (22 in production, from Wenme identity to BitsPath communications to BizRP ERP), LoneSock takes that same engineering practice to client engagements.

Clients hire LoneSock when they need a system built or modernized, not when they need software to subscribe to. We can fold a KaritKarma product into the architecture when it is the right fit, or we can build the equivalent from scratch as a standalone codebase that you fully own. Either way, you get the same architects, the same engineering discipline, and the same source code delivery.

$40 per hour for Time and Materials engagements. The same rate applies to junior and senior engineers because every engagement includes architect-level oversight from the team that has shipped 22 KaritKarma products over 26 years. Dhaka cost base, not Bay Area cost base.

Do clients own the source code?

Yes. Source code delivery is standard on every engagement. You receive the full repository, infrastructure-as-code definitions, deployment scripts, tests, and documentation. No vendor lock-in, no per-seat licensing.

Do you push your own products onto every project?

No. KaritKarma products are presented as platform options alongside competitors. Authentication can be Wenme or Auth0 or Clerk. Comms can be BitsPath or Twilio or SendGrid. Payments can be SSLCommerz or bKash PGW or Stripe direct. The client chooses what fits their compliance, geography, and budget.

What engagement models do you offer?

Fixed-Price with milestone payments for defined scope; Time and Materials at $40 per hour for evolving scope; Retainer or AMC at twenty percent of build cost per year for ongoing maintenance; and CTO-as-a-Service for fractional technical leadership.
