Frequently asked

Technology choices,
in plain language.

What technology does LoneSock use?

LoneSock builds on Go, .NET 10, Rust, Python, and TypeScript with Next.js 16, React 19, and Tailwind CSS 4. Data lives in PostgreSQL 18, RabbitMQ with MassTransit, Kafka, Redis, and pgvector. Frontends ship on Vercel or our own Tier-3 data center. Mobile is Dart/Flutter or React Native.

Is the KaritKarma platform required for every project?

No. KaritKarma products are presented as defaults alongside competitors. The client decides what fits. Most projects mix and match (for example, Wenme for auth, Stripe for payments, BizRP for commerce, and a client-chosen CRM).

What does it cost to use a KaritKarma product as part of an engagement?

The platform integration cost is zero for the components needed by the client's project. The hours to integrate are billed at the standard $20 per hour. If the client wants to keep using the KaritKarma product as a productized SaaS after handover, normal per-seat or per-tenant pricing applies.

Can the client take the source code with them?

Yes for the client's project. Source code delivery is standard on every engagement. KaritKarma platform products themselves remain owned by KaritKarma, but every line of code we write for the client is handed over.

Why so many products?

Each product solves a recurring problem we hit across consulting engagements: identity (Wenme), RBAC (Darwan), comms (BitsPath), file storage (Professional Vault), CMS (Loom), commerce (BizRP), and so on. Building these once and reusing them is what lets LoneSock deliver enterprise systems at $20 per hour.

Are the products multi-tenant?

Most are. Wenme, Darwan, BitsPath, BizRP, and QRID are multi-tenant SaaS. IntraPay and Aegis ship as dedicated installs because of their regulatory and scale profile.
